Jonathan Monk Something To See Something To Hide/Nothing To See Nothing To Hide at Landskrona Konsthall, Landskrona, Sweden is on view from October 4 through November 23rd, 2025.

In Something To See Something To Hide/Nothing To See Nothing To Hide, Monk uses as his source material Landskrona Konsthall’s modernist architecture designed in 1963 by Sten Samuelson and Fritz Jaenecke – a design inspired by Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House (1951) and Philip Johnson’s Glass House (1949). However, how do you challenge a transparent modernist glass pavilion? Monk’s answer is the installation of colorful curtains, purchased in the city’s second-hand shops, in all the windows.

Something To See Something To Hide/Nothing To See Nothing To Hide, is curated by Conny Blom and Nina Slejko Blom.
